What I Do
- I am developing OurAI, a ChatGPT client for small and medium-sized businesses. More details at https://ourai.applicloud.com.
- I train Open Source AI and ChatGPT integration using APIs.
- AI-Powered Text Processing I work with AI models and frameworks for text processing. My favorites include OpenAI, TXTAI, IBM Watson, and Azure Cognitive Services.
- Communication – One-on-One. Interactions More specifically, I focus on one-on-one communication—on one side, a human; on the other, either a computer program or another person. Since the time of Graham Bell (who essentially created the first human-machine-human communication channel), a lot has changed. Today's technologies offer a vast array of communication possibilities—from web chats and Skype to video kiosks.
- Technology Development & Business Integration I not only develop technologies that power these systems (such as web chats, VoIP, WebRTC, chatbots, etc.), but more importantly, I focus on how to implement and integrate these tools meaningfully into businesses.
- I have helped implement web chat and video kiosks for various companies, including O2, HomeCredit, ČSOB, and Innogy.

My Professional History
PREHISTORY
I graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Prague in 1980—a time when programmers wore white lab coats and coded in COBOL, Fortran, and Assembly. This is where I built the foundations that are still relevant today.
Back then, I was developing software for computers with 16 KB of memory—and yet, such a machine was capable of controlling a rolling mill!
Things started getting really interesting with the rise of personal computers and, most importantly, the internet in the early 1990s.
Freelance 2022 - Present
I focus on projects, consulting, and training in the fields of direct communication and automated text processing using AI for medium and large businesses.
I am also developing my own product based on the OpenAI API—OurAI. More details at https://ourai.applicloud.com.
ICORD - MLUVII (2005 - 2022)
Multimice, SEATS, OnOp, VoxPopuli, Actisto, China Wall, mluvii
In 2005, I co-founded iCORD (now called mluvii), where I still serve as an R&D consultant and integrator for major clients. We successfully sold the company to O2 in 2016.
At mluvii, we carried out numerous projects, all centered around enabling communication between one or more people via the Internet.
Completed Projects
Multimice – A single computer connected to up to 30 wireless mice, primarily used for educational purposes, often in combination with a multimedia whiteboard. After two years and implementation in about 20 schools across the Czech Republic, the rights to this product were sold to France.
SEATS – A predecessor to Slack and Microsoft Teams, developed in 2010 using Flash, which was popular at the time. It was successfully sold to a large corporation, where it was used until recently before being replaced by MS Teams.
OnOp – A webinar hosting system built on Flash. It was once highly popular and a strong competitor to Webex in the Czech Republic.
Actisto – Our first experiments with the WebRTC framework. This 1:1 communication platform had several hundred regular users worldwide, confirming that WebRTC is the future of internet communication.
China Wall – For the Chinese company Xpandion and its language learning product, we developed a solution to bypass the Great Firewall of China for WebRTC communication. The project was successful, but required deep WebRTC expertise.
VoxPopuli – Developed for Home Credit, this kiosk-based software runs in Sconto Nábytek and Baumax stores, enabling remote financing solutions. The project has been operational since 2014 and is still running today.
mluvii – The flagship product of our company, a highly complex multichannel communication system for medium and large enterprises. It enables communication across all major channels, including voice, video, and text-based interactions (web chat, Facebook, WhatsApp, email, etc.). The product has been implemented in numerous large companies across the Czech Republic and Europe and continues to evolve rapidly.

BMW MUNICH (2002-2005)
PPC (Permanent Product Control)
After leaving Checkit (which was later renamed Appello by its new owners), I spent several years working at BMW in Munich.
PPC was an internal project aimed at improving the quality of manufactured vehicles, used daily by thousands of employees. My role was front-end development.
CHECKIT (1997 - 2002)
Click and other projects
In 1999, I co-founded Checkit, a company focused on speech recognition implementation. The company grew rapidly, soon expanding to over 50 employees. I initially served as CEO, later transitioning to the role of CTO. The company was successfully sold to a foreign investor.
We worked on numerous projects for both domestic and international clients, primarily involving IBM technology integration and the development of proprietary solutions.
Our largest project was Click for the telecom operator Pegas (now T-Mobile), where we developed an integration between the web and mobile phones—a groundbreaking innovation at the time.
M.I.A / TRAFIKA.CZ (1994 - 1997)
www.trafika.cz
M.I.A was one of the first internet companies in the Czech Republic—and I was its first employee.
We developed the www.trafika.cz portal, which aggregated online content from major newspapers (Mladá Fronta, Lidové noviny, Právo, and Sport). At the time, Trafika was among the top five most-visited websites in the Czech Republic.
